Admissions

Grades 9-12: Enrollment is currently open for the 2025/2026 school year.

Your Next Steps in the Admissions Process

  • Step 1: Attend an Open House, Tour of the School or Shadow Day

If you missed one of our open houses or shadow days, simply contact us! We’d love to give you a personal tour or have your student shadow for a day. This is your chance to get your questions answered, meet the team, and connect with other students!

Subscribe to our emails to stay up-to-date on future events.

  • Step 2: Submit Your Application

After scheduling your visit or attending an open house, we invite you to complete the new student application.

    Applications are OPEN!

  • Step 3: Family Meeting

Once we receive your online application, our head of school will reach out to assist in scheduling your family meeting.

The meeting is a personal invite to learn more about you and your student and an opportunity to learn more about the school, its mission, and its values.

  • Step 4: Placement Exam

All applicants will need to complete a placement exam enabling us to assess each student's proficiency level effectively in order to guide their success.

There is one date left to choose from: April 5, 2025. Learn more about the exam.

  • Step 5: Enrollment

After careful review of your application and family meeting by the admissions committee, your family will be contacted with the admissions decision. This decision may come before the placement test. Placement testing does not determine if a student is accepted, it’s a guide to help us teach each student to the best of our ability.

Once you've been notified of your acceptance into the school, you'll be sent a link to enroll. At this time you will also have the opportunity to apply for financial aid.

CLT8 Placement Exam

All students are required to take a placement exam as part of the enrollment process. The placement exam is used as a diagnostic tool to ensure students are placed in the appropriate class, and to help identify areas of academic strengths and opportunities for growth. Learn more.

Waitlist for Future Students

You can register to be on the waitlist as early as you like for each child to secure a place in line for their school start date - even if it’s not for years to come!

The Cost of a Chesterton Education

We believe every family should have the choice to send their children to a Catholic school that prepares them for college and for life. That’s why making education affordable to as many Madison area students as possible is something that we prioritize. Our aim is to ensure that everyone who desires a Classical Catholic Education has the opportunity, regardless of their financial situation.

The tuition rate is significantly less than the actual cost to educate each child. Currently, tuition and fees cover about 20% of the actual cost of educating a student. The remaining 80% is subsidized through fundraising and special events. Because of this, families are asked to aid in fundraising and recruiting efforts throughout the school year. In addition to this subsidy, we offer financial assistance to families who qualify for needs based assistance.

Please do not hesitate to reach out to contact@chestertonqofm.com with any questions or concerns.

To qualify for financial assistance and receive an award letter, you must be either an existing or admitted and registered student at Chesterton Academy - Queen of Martyrs. A tuition management and grant and aid assessment program called FACTS is used to process applications and determine each family’s financial need. FACTS collects the necessary information from each family, audits it and provides this information to us to be used as a tool for identifying and matching need-based assistance with our families. All information is kept confidential.

Families can choose to complete the application online during the enrollment process. Financial assistance is not automatically renewed each year. An application for assistance must be filed annually.
