Location Announcement for the 2024/2025 School Year

We are overjoyed to share some exciting news with you all!

As we gear up for the 2024/2025 school year, we are delighted to announce that we have secured a wonderful location to call home. Our inaugural year will be housed within the St. Albert the Great Catholic Church building in Sun Prairie, Wis.

Throughout this year-long exhaustive search, and consideration and negotiations of various buildings, we have been in close communication with St. Albert the Great. Amid the course of continued discernment and discussion, in March our team entered an agreement with the church. However, there was still work to do. We needed to apply for a conditional use permit from the city, a process that includes working with the city, hiring an architect, public hearings, and code analysis. Only after these qualifications were met, could we officially say we were approved and able to occupy the space.

We are overjoyed to say that we can finally announce that we have been approved by the city. We now have a location that we believe will be a great fit to give us a solid foundation for the first few years of our school as we grow the student population, both fiscally and geographically.

The opportunity and significance of our new location cannot be overstated. In addition to having existing classroom space that will accommodate our beginning years, one of the major highlights is the proximity to the sanctuary. This will allow our students and faculty to easily participate in daily Mass, aligning perfectly with our mission to integrate faith into every aspect of our educational journey.

We are immensely grateful to Fr. Vince and all the staff at St. Albert the Great for their support and understanding. They share our mission and have generously offered their assistance to help us get started. This collaboration not only demonstrates their commitment to education but also their dedication to nurturing the spiritual growth of young minds. Furthermore, their support has been invaluable to us, allowing us to focus our resources on providing the best possible education for our students.

In terms of logistics, we have reached an agreement to pay rent to St. Albert the Great Catholic Church for the Upper Parish Level space during school hours, which will serve as our primary location for classes and activities. Additionally, it's important to note that our arrangement with the church is temporary. We have a three-year contract with them, during which we will be actively searching for an alternative and more permanent space to better accommodate our needs. In the meantime, if you have a lead on building, please contact us.

With everything falling into place, we are eagerly anticipating the arrival of our first cohort of students this fall!

If you or someone you know is interested in joining our inaugural class, there's still time to enroll!

Simply click here to find out more information on enrollment. We are currently enrolling students grades 9-12 and look forward to welcoming them into our Chesterton family.

As we embark on this new chapter, we are filled with excitement and gratitude. We are confident that our partnership with St. Albert the Great Catholic Church will be the beginning of a fruitful and enriching journey for all involved. Thank you for your continued support, and here's to a successful inaugural year at Chesterton Academy - Queen of Martyrs.

Our Lady Queen of Martyrs, pray for us.
